ROAM offers the option of shipping your vehicle via open or enclosed carrier. Most people choose to have their vehicle shipped on an open carrier. For vehicles with low ground clearance, vintage vehicles, or vehicles of higher value you might want to utilize an enclosed carrier. Our team is happy to provide a quote for both services, as well as help you decide which may be better for your specific circumstance.
Open Carrier Shipping
This is the most commonly used method of transport. The truck is about the same size as most tractor trailers that you see on the road (about 75-80 feet long).
The trailer can hold an average of 6-8 cars although there are smaller and larger open carriers. This is the least expensive option; however, the vehicle is exposed to road debris and the weather during transport.
Enclosed Carrier Shipping
An enclosed carrier has a completely enclosed trailer. It is approximately the same size as the open trailer but has a roof and sides.
This method offers the highest level of security protection from the weather and road debris. It is more expensive than an open carrier.
One Day Loading
ROAM also offers the options of a one-day pickup (additional charges may apply). This allows you to pick the day that your vehicle is loading at your convenience, avoiding the hassle of date spreads, and the ability to schedule other pieces of your move more easily.
